Organic Dill WeedDill (Anethum graveolens) is a short-lived perennial herb. It originated in Eastern Europe. Fresh and dried dill leaves (called dill weed) are used as herbs. Dill seed is used as a spice, especially in European and Asian cuisine.

Twigs of dill were found in the tomb of Amenhotep II. Dill is mentioned in the early writings of the Talumd. There is also evidence of dill cultivation in the Neolithic lake shore settlements of Switzerland.
